The year 2025 marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of world cinema, the 120th anniversary of the birth of Chinese cinema, the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the first public museum independently founded by the Chinese, and also the 20th anniversary of the completion of the China Film Museum. At this highly commemorative historical intersection, Reignwood Culture Foundation and the China Film Museum held a signing ceremony, announcing the commencement of in-depth cooperation between the two parties.
The two parties will collaborate at Reignwood Theatre in Beijing to establish the "China Film Museum Reignwood Theatre Public Screening Day," a dedicated screening space that extends and enhances the public film viewings currently held in Hall 6 of the China Film Museum. Together, they aim to promote "continuous public screenings and daily enjoyment of classic films," broadening the audience for the cultural allure of cinema.
